PX XT/AT PCB Interface (Antipodean)

Has anyone ever used a PIC to make use of an old PC/AT I/O interface board? I envisage the PMP/EPMP of the 16/32 bit series devices could be made to do this, I just wondered if anyone had tried....

Back in the 90s I did deal with the XT/AT bus quite a lot, but it was way earlier than PICs " />I only used Z80 and TTL or PIOs...

Hah, I did an interface back in the 1980's to use an ISA bus hard driver controller driven by a Z80.That was back in the days when a 20 Megabyte hard drive was HUGE!

you need 20 bits addressing and 16 bits data (for AT) + a bunch more pins.probably do-able.
